Patch 1.0.10 Brings Extensive Fixes to Storylines and Quest Logic
Source: Steam Community
Patch 1.0.10 is now live for Sovereign Tower, delivering a substantial batch of fixes aimed at smoothing out story progression and quest mechanics. Several characters' personal storylines have received corrections, and New Game+ should now behave more consistently.
Storyline and NG+ Fixes
- Fixed issues in Victoria's storyline, including an ambush scenario that incorrectly targeted herself and Yorhav not dying properly when assassinated.
- Resolved inconsistencies and a soft lock in Gideon's storyline on New Game+.
- Corrected an issue where the Sovereign's stats were not resetting when going back in time.
- Addressed a conflict with Gwendan's storyline if he was dismissed after meeting the Pawnbroker.
- Fixed repeated decision locking in NG+, allowing quests to play out differently and making Oliver recruitable when the mercy option is chosen.
- Resolved cases where knights would disappear or couldn't be recalled after dismissal in NG+, including an issue where the Dragon Knight would instantly kill the player if summoned early.
- Fixed follow-up event triggering for the Unexpected Outcome in the Basalt Isles, plus a conflict between Ligia's lamp and mermaid cure quests.
Quest and Logic Fixes
- Corrected trait calculations for multiple knights, including Arron's TIMID and BRUTAL traits, Angelica's FORTUNATE trait, and Rufus's competitor trait.
- Fixed quest result scores not being summed correctly in several instances.
- Addressed an issue where a knight's rumour couldn't be investigated if another knight shared the same trait.
- Prevented selling equipment from knights who were not at the Round Table.
- Resolved dialogue conflicts in NG+ involving Elmor, Kutnar Derby, Ligia, and Gothild.
- Fixed Colombus not receiving the flying mount bonus, and corrected a story conflict with Victoria's sword description.
Other Improvements
- Merlin's assessment of your sovereignty at the end of Act 3 now uses current run values instead of accumulating across the whole save.
- The 'Dismiss' button is now always visible in the Glossary, though it remains active only from the Main Menu to clarify that knights can be dismissed.
