Sovereign tower weapons list

Weapon types overview

Sovereign Tower is a Round Table management RPG, so this weapons list works differently from a traditional action RPG. You do not equip a hero directly. Instead, the knights you recruit bring their own combat gear, and the weapons available to you are tied to the quests you assign and the regions you rally. Your job as Sovereign is to match the right gear with the right knight at the right time.

Recruit eccentric Knights, assign quests and balance egos whilst carving out your kingdom's destiny.

Most gear falls into broad combat styles that suit different quest types:

  • Blade weapons
    • swords and dueling arms suited to knightly characters such as the retired knight and Britania's legendary knight.
  • Heavy and siege arms
    • stronger military gear associated with regions like Drakovic, Gavault, and the Empire.
  • Ranged equipment
    • useful for hunts and regional campaigns like rallying Groveshire or the Isles of Basalt.
  • Defensive gear
    • shields, helmets, and armor. Even a single piece can matter, as shown by the quest to give Dulahan a new helmet.
  • Ritual and dragon-forged gear
    • special equipment unlocked through demon deals and the Dragon Knight storyline.

The weapon category you send matters for quest outcomes. The right loadout can produce a critical success("It Was Perfect"), while a poor match can trigger a critical failure("Oopsy Doopsy"). Treat weapon choices as part of quest planning, not just flavor.

How to unlock

Gear unlocks through progression systems rather than loot drops. Follow this general order:

  1. Build rooms
    • your first room build unlocks the "A Founding Stone" achievement, and each new room expands the services and gear options available in your tower.
  2. Recruit a pawnbroker
    • found through the "What're Ya Sellin'?" achievement; this gives you a reliable buy and sell channel for weapons and equipment.
  3. Recruit a trainer
    • the "An Extravagant One" achievement; trainers improve knight stats so they can wield stronger gear effectively.
  4. Unlock the Stables
    • "Everything's Stable" opens faster quest assignments and better access to gear across the kingdom.
  5. Rally regions
    • progress through the acts and rally areas such as Southbay, Almor, Kutnar, Brimwood, Moonvale, Enberg, and the Isles of Basalt to unlock regional equipment.

Recruit the pawnbroker early if you want a steady equipment supply. Save toward 5,000 funds for the "Idle Funds" achievement so you can buy strong gear the moment a new region unlocks it.

If a quest fails because of a bad gear call, you can use the power of the demon to rewind time and try again. The "It's Rewind Time!" achievement tracks up to 10 uses before the end of the game, so do not hoard it for gear mistakes that are easy to fix.

Notable weapons

Several pieces of gear are tied to specific knights and personal quests. These signature equipment moments are worth planning around:

  • The Dragon Knight
    • meeting this knight, then letting Arron perform the ritual to become a Dragon Knight ("A Change of Heart"), unlocks dragon-themed combat gear.
  • Dulahan's new helmet
    • completing this request grants a signature piece of armor, and there are both honorable and ethically questionable ways to obtain it.
  • Silgur's reward
    • the "A Big Heart" achievement; giving Silgur what he wants returns a unique item.
  • Britania's legendary knight
    • recruiting this endgame fighter, tracked by "The Strongest Knight" and "A Knights Game", brings the strongest knight-grade weaponry available.

Some gear choices carry story consequences. The "Something's Wrong" and "Family Disaster" achievements show that what you give or withhold from a knight can change them permanently, so save before major equipment quests.

Tips

  • Match gear to quest minimums. Assign weapons that cover the quest's base stat requirements, then let the demon rewind fix any failures.
  • Try the Sovereign Clutcher run later. Completing a quest with all base stats below minimum is a challenge achievement, not a normal gearing strategy.
  • Use Save Anytime. Sovereign Tower lets you save at any moment, so save before expensive purchases or signature weapon quests.
  • Keep funds flowing. Happy population groups generate the funds you need for gear. Check the "Balanced Sovereign" achievement requirements for at least 20 satisfaction across all groups.
  • Recruit every knight at least once. The "A Knights Game" achievement asks for all available knights, and several of them bring unique weapons into your pool. For help choosing who to pursue, see the Sovereign Tower Knights guide.

When a gear quest fails, rewind before recruiting replacements. The demon power resets the situation, and the "Sovereign Cheater" achievement shows that some quests even allow radically unorthodox solutions.
